Deploying a transactable marketplace offer is required in FY24 and beyond for ISV Partners who want to sell with Microsoft. Any company that was IP Co-Sell eligible in FY23 needs to deploy a transactable offer by December 31, 2023 or lose their IP Co-Sell status.
Without a transactable listing, you will not be able to leverage private marketplace offers that allow your end customers to avoid seeking budget approval and instead use their pre-committed cloud spend budget. In FY24 and beyond, in order to co-sell with Microsoft and access your end-customers' Microsoft cloud spend commitments (MACC), you need to have a transactable Microsoft marketplace solution.
Without being IP co-sell eligible, Microsoft's customers will not be able to use their committed cloud spend (MACC). This makes it difficult to stand out amongst competitors that are IP Co-Sell eligible and are able to maximize support and incentives from Microsoft's sales teams.
By transacting through Microsoft's marketplace, you will be able to shorten the procurement process by using Microsoft's paper and being essentially pre-vetted by your end customers' procurement teams. By not transacting through Microsoft marketplace, your deals get stuck for weeks or months in procurement.
